Quiet and tranquil
Duggingen, with its 1,620 inhabitants, is a quiet, tranquil and family-friendly village in the canton of Baselland. Thanks to its rural location and well thought-out zoning regulations, more than 50 percent of the buildings here are detached houses. The train to Basel is only 15 minutes away: first class for commuters. The neighboring towns of Dornach and Aesch with their attractive infrastructure can also be reached quickly. The A18 highway is a two-minute drive away; Basel is a ten-minute drive away.
There is an elementary school in Duggingen; children attend secondary school in neighboring Aesch. The nearest grammar schools are in Laufen, Muttenz and Münchenstein. The ISB International School Basel with three campuses in Aesch, Fiechten and Reinach accompanies 3 to 19-year-olds on their individual path to the International Baccalaureate.

Around Duggingen there are wide, wonderful landscapes and the best opportunities to regenerate by hiking, cycling or jogging.
